Heat pump cleaning

Cleaning of the wall heat pump is necessary every year

The simple replacement of the filter is not enough to clean a wall system. A wall (or central) heat pump cleaning must be done annually and seriously. It pays off because this maintenance extends the life of the device.

Indications of the urgency of cleaning a wall-mounted heat pump

Although you regularly clean or replace the filters on your device, dust reaches other parts of the heat pump such as the fan and the indoor ducts. This accumulation impairs the transfer of cold or hot air.

If you observe the following signs, it is necessary to clean the heat pump

  • air conditioning or heating less efficient than before,
  • presence of dust visible to the naked eye
  • fan became louder
  • odour

Of course, you can change the filter yourself, but that's not enough. If you don’t have specialized tools, it is unlikely that you will be able to perform adequate and preventive wall-mounted heat pump cleaning.

The offer of Climatik in wall-mounted heat pump cleaning

If too much dirt enters the engine and the coil, the air that comes back into your home or building is not as clean, and you breathe that air.

Here is how we do the wall-mounted heat pump cleaning:

  • indoor unit: clean the evaporator, fan, drain and filter
  • outdoor unit: clean the condenser with muriatic acid, check the voltage, the refrigerating pressures and the drain.

You can call us to request a one-time or regular year-round maintenance service contract whether you are in the residential or commercial sector. Our contracts are flexible because they are based on your budget and the type of device you have.

We offer the same cleaning service for devices that have not been purchased from Climatik.
